Jo-Anne Mitchell, Broker Associate, has more than 25 years of experience in real estate sales, investments, management, and relocation. To better meet the challenges of today's real estate market, including data security and strategies for safeguarding clients' private information, she earned the National Association of REALTORS® e-PRO® Certification. She has also achieved the National Association of REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) Endorsement, demonstrating her dedication to practicing real estate at the highest professional standards.

Throughout her career, Mitchell has received numerous production and industry awards. She was recognized as a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker – Achiever in 2022, named a Morris County Top Agent in 2022, and a Morris County Top Elite Agent in 2021. In 2020, she was honored as one of America's Best Real Estate Professionals by RealTrends and Tom Ferry. She also earned the Platinum Level New Jersey REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Sales Award® in 2019.

Mitchell was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Passaic County Board of REALTORS® in both 1999 and 2013, an honor recognizing outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and community service. She is a member of the New Jersey REALTORS® Quarter Century Club and is a two-term Past President of the Passaic County Board of REALTORS®. She also served as a Director of the New Jersey Association of REALTORS® and as a Trustee of its Education Foundation.

A member of the National Association of REALTORS® since 1989, Mitchell was selected by the Passaic County Board of REALTORS® to serve as its 2013 NAR Voting Delegate and later served three years as a National Director. She is a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Commission Continuing Education Instructor and facilitates the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics course.

Since the inception of the Garden State Multiple Listing Service (GSMLS), Mitchell has been an active member and served on its Advisory Committee in 2009 and 2010. She is also a member of the New Jersey, Hudson, Monmouth, and Ocean County Multiple Listing Services.

An active member of her community, Mitchell is a longtime resident of Woodland Park, New Jersey, where she currently serves on the Board of Adjustment/Zoning Board. Previously, she was elected and re-elected to three terms on the Woodland Park Board of Education, serving as Board President for more than two years. Her community involvement also includes serving as a Girl Scout Troop #411 Leader, a member of the Executive Committee of the Passaic Valley High School Band Association, President of both the Beatrice Gilmore School and Memorial Middle School Home and School Associations, a youth softball coach, and co-chair of the Woodland Park Centennial Committee.

Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from William Paterson University, with minors in Psychology and Business Law. She attended Passaic Valley High School and graduated from Manchester Regional High School. An active parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson, she is married and the proud mother of three children.
